  From the main menu screen, select Settings > Location & security > Set up screen lock > Pattern, and proceed as prompted.

  No. If you have entered an incorrect unlock pattern for five consecutive times, your phone displays a message saying "You have incorrectly tried 5 times. Please try again in 30 seconds."

  In Messaging, select Menu>Settings>Select ringtone>Music, select a song, and touch OK.

• How Can I Stop an Alarm? 

  When an alarm rings, the Alarm dialog box is displayed. To stop the alarm, touch Dismiss. If you touch Snooze, the alarm will ring again in 10 minutes.

  

  If the Alarm dialog box is not displayed, you can expand the notification bar, select Alarm, and then select Dismiss to stop the alarm. Similarly, if you have selected Snooze on the Alarm screen, you can perform the same operations to stop the alarm.

  

  To turn off an alarm, select Clock from the main menu, touch the clock icon on the displayed screen, select the desired alarm from the Alarms screen, and then deselect Turn alarm on.
