You can unlock the screen by sliding the padlock icon across the screen as prompted.

1. On the main menu screen, select Settings > Sound > Phone ringtone.
2. Select the desired pre-loaded ringtone.

In the File Manager application, touch and hold the desired music file, and then select Set as phone ringtone.

In the Music application, touch and hold the desired music file, and then select Set as phone ringtone.

When the desired music file is being played, touch the menu key, and then select Use as ringtone.

Create a folder called ringtones in the root directory of the microSD card, and then move the desired music file into this folder. When an alarm rings, the Alarm screen is displayed. To stop the alarm, select Dismiss. If you select Snooze, the alarm will ring again in 10 minutes.

If the Alarm screen is not displayed (for example, if you press the end key when the alarm rings), you can expand the notification bar, select Alarm, and then select Dismiss to stop the alarm. Similarly, if you have selected Snooze on the Alarm screen, you can perform the same operations to stop the alarm.

If you do not want an alarm to ring again, select Clock from the main menu, touch the clock icon on the displayed screen, select the desired alarm from the Alarms screen, and then deselect Turn alarm on from the Set alarm screen.

• Connect your headset to the phone, activate the digital theater system (DTS) as prompted, and then select the desired DTS mode.

Note: Use the headset provided or recommended by your network operator.

• On the main menu screen, select Settings > Sound > DTS mode, and then select the desired DTS mode.
• When music is being played, touch the menu key, select DTS mode, and then select the desired DTS mode.

When video is being played, touch the menu key to display the video menu, select DTS mode, and then select the desired DTS mode.

On the main menu screen, select Settings > Location & security > Set up screen lock > Pattern, and then proceed as prompted.

• Continue to enter the unlock pattern. You can unlock your phone only after you have entered the correct unlock pattern.

Note: If you have forgotten the unlock pattern and if you do not have a Google account you cannot access the phone system. In this case, you can perform a forced upgrade on your phone so that nobody can recover the important data on your phone even if your phone is lost.
